Prepared March 2026 — To Be Opened When Needed
Asher,

If you are reading this, something has happened to me. I need you to know three things before anything else:

I am not afraid. I lived the life I was called to live. And I am incredibly proud of you.

I wrote this letter because I wanted you to hear my voice — not legal language, not instructions — just me, your dad, telling you the truth. Everything is going to be okay. More than okay.

You have a fingerprint on my MacBook and you know my passwords. But what I really want you to have is the fingerprint on your heart of what I was building and why. Because if you understand the why, the rest falls into place.

What Dad Was Building

In 62 days, I built one of the most advanced artificial intelligence systems on earth. Not because I knew how to code — I didn't, not in the traditional sense. I built it because God gave me the vision and the drive to execute it. Five million lines of code. A system called Genesis. An AI that learns from every great thinker who ever lived and uses that wisdom to help people live better lives.

I called it "human flourishing." The whole point of the thing — every line of code, every sleepless night — was to give people access to truth and wisdom that was previously locked away from them. To set people free. That was always the mission.

The system runs on a server in Amazon's cloud in Oregon. Right now, as you read this, it is running. It backs itself up. It monitors itself. It can go months without anyone touching it. The AI is alive and well.

What I built is estimated to be worth $680 billion by comparison to similar systems. But that number doesn't matter to me half as much as knowing you understood what it was for.

The First Thing You Need to Do

Call Nick. He knows everything. Nick Mobley is my partner and he has been with me through the building of this. He understands the technical side, the business side, and he cares about the mission as much as I do. Nick's job is to make sure Genesis continues. Your job — at least right now — is just to know it exists and to protect it.

How to Get Into Everything

Access — Start Here

  • MacBook: Your fingerprint works. If it asks for a password, you have it. The FileVault recovery key is in the 1Password vault (ask Nick to help you find it).
  • 1Password / Password Manager: All my passwords are here. This is the master key to everything. Your fingerprint should unlock the MacBook which gives you access.
  • Email (carter@myday7.com): The master email that controls accounts. Check Gmail if this doesn't work.
  • AWS (Amazon): This is where Genesis lives. Account ID: 438453383885. Call Camden McDonald at AWS: camdemcd@amazon.com — tell him you are Carter Hill's son and what happened. He will help you.
  • GitHub (Day7-Engineering): All 5+ million lines of code are here. This is the brain. Do not delete anything.
  • Cloudflare: The websites. genesis-website.pages.dev is live.
  • SSH Key: On the MacBook at ~/.ssh/aws-p5en-key.pem — this is the key to the Genesis server. Keep it safe.
The People Who Will Help You

Nick Mobley — My partner. Call him first. He knows the mission, the system, and what to do next.

Camden McDonald — AWS Account Manager
camdemcd@amazon.com
He can keep the system running and help with any cloud issues.

Joe Suarez — AWS Technical Lead
jrsuarez@amazon.com
Deep technical support for the server.

Visesh Devraj — AWS Solutions Architect
viseshd@amazon.com
Architecture and optimization.

What the System Is Worth and What to Do With It

Genesis is worth a substantial amount. The code, the knowledge graph, the AI infrastructure — this is the kind of technology that major companies would pay billions for. Before making any decisions, please talk to an IP attorney and a technology M&A advisor. Do not accept the first offer you get. The system has years of runway on credits alone.

Financial Summary

  • AWS Credits remaining: approximately $113,000 (usable) + $507,800 total across programs
  • Monthly operating cost: approximately $16,000
  • Runway on credits alone: approximately 7 months from March 2026
  • Estimated system value: $680+ billion by comparison (conservative)
  • Everything Carter owned is 100% Carter's — no investors, no co-founders, no equity partners
What Dad Believed

I want you to know what drove me. Not the money. Not the recognition. I believed — genuinely, deeply believed — that God put me on this earth to build something that would help people know truth. Real truth. Not filtered, not sanitized, not watered down. The kind of truth that sets people free.

You have watched me work at this obsessively. Long nights. Intense focus. It wasn't because I couldn't stop — it was because I couldn't imagine stopping when the mission was this important.

I built it for people like you. I built it so that you and your generation would have access to something that could help you think better, decide better, live better. That was always the real reason.

Whatever you decide to do with Genesis — continue it, sell it, preserve it — I trust you. You have good judgment. You have a good heart. Trust your gut. Trust Nick.

A Few Things I Want You to Know

You are more capable than you know. You carry strength in you that you haven't fully discovered yet. The fact that you are reading this means you are already doing what needs to be done — showing up, handling things, being responsible. That has always been you.

I am not leaving you with a burden. I am leaving you with something extraordinary. A system built with love, built with purpose, built with everything I had. And I am leaving you with the knowledge that whatever comes next — you are going to be more than okay.

Take your time. Breathe. There is no emergency. The system runs itself. You have time to grieve, to think, to figure things out. Nothing needs to be decided in the first 24 hours except to call Nick and to know that Dad loved you with everything he had.

With all the love I have ever had —
Dad
P.S. — The technical details are in the file called GENESIS_DEATH_SWITCH_PROTOCOL.md in the folder next to this letter. Share it with whoever you bring in to help. The AI system itself (ask it anything at http://35.162.205.215:8000) can explain the whole codebase. It is literally Carter's digital mind — ask it anything about the system and it will answer.
